[ltp] Problems with Netscape on a tp running Linux

I am running Redhat Linux 6.0 on a Thinkpad 760XD and am having
trouble with the version of Netscape that is supplied with Linux.  I
also tried the upgrade that is available over the net.  The problem is
described below.

I seem to be having trouble with the Yahoo chat rooms when selecting
Java over HTML as the language.  Whenever I enter one of the chat
rooms with Java enabled I get a message which says Java is starting
and then Netscape shuts down.  I have tried reinstalling Netscape and
that didn't help.

Any ideas anyone?
