Hi,

Have you got Linux (RH6?) working on your 770Z?

I haven't got X working - could I get a copy of your XFree86 config file -
did you have many problems getting X working on the 770Z?

Thanks,
Declan.

Subject: [ltp] Home network & Printing

Has anybody been in this situation:

- running a local (NetGear 10baseT) Ethernet at home
- connecting both Linux and Windows machines
- wanting to share a (cheap) HP printer

Of course I can buy an HP Ethernet server module that connects the printer
to
the Ethernet for $145. But I like to be cheap for once. I do also have a
FreeBSD box that could be used as a server.

1. Anybody out there have any suggestions on how to set things up?

Also,

2. How about sharing a dialup connection?
I know about IP Masquerading, and will use that eventually.
For now, I must use Windows95 to dial-up on my TP 770Z. How can I
let another Windows machine share the internet connection via my
   local Ethernet?
