Hi all,
due to a large work load, I am looking for others to help me manage the
content, extend
the information base and generally keep it up to date.
The various discussions here regarding big disks, token ring/PCMCIA
woes, etc are things
that I could only "copy/paste" into my pages, but I would appreciate it
if those in the know
would help me in getting the content together.
Currently my pages get hit more that 2000 times per week, so I am also
considering making
the pages not just 770 related, but have them cover TPs with Linux in
general.
I don't know if someone has already tried to do this but in light of the
above figures I am
prepared to donate an computer for this cause, and have a webserver
dedicated to the
computers we use with our OS of choice. It may end up being a difficult
thing to manage
but I believe that we owe it to ourselves to have this kind of
consolidated information
system. I not talking about an "XF86Config" collection, but a real
source for information and
help for beginners and experienced users alike.
If you want to help, let me know.
I'm a programmer not an "arty" kind of guy, so if some one can think of
a nice "Linux ThinkPad"
logo and web-site theme/layout then let me know too.
For the dedicated server I am considering Zope, so that the various
contributors can easily maintain
their own content, comments ?
Bill.
