Felix,
I have also had problems getting my 1260's modem to work. There is a page at
http://www.heby.de/computer/ltmodem which tells you how to do it. It states
that the driver was written for Kernel 2.2.12 but can be forced to work with
2.2.14 by using insmod -f.
However, I have tried this (I have Kernel 2.2.14) and still can't get the
module to load. I wonder if there is a percularity with the i1200 series
that is causing this?
Anyone else have problems???
Steve
ps. I also have a problem trying to use the PCMCIA Card Bus controller. It
seems to clash irqs the soundcard (I can't work out how to change the IRQ),
preventing my ethernet card from working properly. Have you had any luck
with PCMCIA????
