Howdy All and Happy New Year!
Now my problem, I have a ThinkPad 770x with SusE 6.2 (kernel 2.2.10) and the
rest you can see below in my var/log/messages.
I have the Token Ring completely bootable and recognised, but problems with

A colleage of mine has the same machine with RH 6.1 and uses a dhcp client
called PUMP and suggested that I use that instead.
A few questions:
1. can I use redhat PUMP with SusE ?
2. I am pinging (trying to anyway) an NT machine which is our DHCP server, I saw
somewhere that this is problematic for TR cards?
3. is it a known problem that DHCLIENT doesn't work with Token Rings (almost
everything in the HOWTO's and support is about ethernet)?
Thanks a million for your help and answers in advance!

PS. When this works I no longer am working on MS 95, only on Linux.... so I hope
I can get this fixed!!!!!
