hi folks,
i have an 600E w/ 10.1GB disk and added 'append="hda=1299,240,63" to my
lilo.conf to be able to see the additional 2GB of disk.
my question is, how, when installing RH6.1 can i specify this open
during the install? (the instructions for the 14.1GB disk on the main
website page indicates to use 'LILO: linux hda=<adjusted cylinder
value>,240,63' during the initial installation. however, i could not
see any point in the installation when this could be done).
alternatively, are there any included tools that will allow me to expand
the extended partition so i can then expand one of the included
partitions? it doesn't appear that fdisk can do this.
i've included the output from fdisk:
Disk /dev/hda: 240 heads, 63 sectors, 1299 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 15120 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 277 2094088+ b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hda2 278 1023 5639760 5 Extended

/dev/hda11 876 1005 982768+ 83 Linux

thanks in advance,
scott
