I'd be able to do so. Please check my posting to this list dated:
Date: Sat, 4 Sep 1999 10:47:27 +0200 (CEST). I made two postings that
day. The first asking for that functionality in tpctl, the second
indicating that it was not even possible to switch modes from DOS by
using the PS2.EXE program.
