[ltp] APM and TP570

All,

	I have a ThinkPad 570 with Redhat Linux 6.2 installed.  I'm trying
to work out numerous issues and have done pretty well so far. I've gotten
the sound working moderately. I still get skips sometimes when performing
large amounts of disk activity and especially in VMWare w/ Windows 2000.
However it's not *too* bad. I've just compiled and installed the latest
*stable* kernel - 2.2.17pre13. And now when I halt my system it doesn't
power off automatically. I have compiled in the APM and have set everything
accordingly (or so it seems):

CONFIG_APM=y
# CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_USER_SUSPEND is not set
CONFIG_APM_DO_ENABLE=y
CONFIG_APM_CPU_IDLE=y
CONFIG_APM_DISPLAY_BLANK=y
CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_SUSPEND_BOUNCE=y
CONFIG_APM_RTC_IS_GMT=y
CONFIG_APM_ALLOW_INTS=y
# CONFIG_APM_REAL_MODE_POWER_OFF is not set

(I've also tried setting the CONFIG_APM_REAL_MODE_POWER_OFF, but it doesn't
seem to make any difference).

There used to be another option - CONFIG_APM_POWER_OFF, I think...but from
what I understand this now defaults to *set* and is no longer configurable.

Is there anyone else running on a 570? Or at least someone who knows the
answer to this?

Thanks,
Brian
