There are many cards that work. if you want a 10bT card the 3C589 is what
I use and it works quite nicely. I think you can't go wrong with 3COM PCMCIA
nics though. You should consult the PCMCIA-CS homepage at
http://pcmcia.sourceforge.org/
I have tried a Dayna 10bT card and it works well too (it's NE2000
compatible though. not really a well designed NIC)
