[ltp] Sound on an i1460

Hi again:
After being able to add the graphical environment, my next quest is to
setup the audio.
>From the ALSA site, I downloaded alsa-driver-0_5_6_tar.bz2.
My first question is, how do I "run" this file (I don't know the .bz2
extension). And, from there, is it self-explanatory?
