I've used Ranish's Partition manager with great success.
Its a small DOS program & its free. You don't need Dos installed on your hard
drive, but you do need to have a DOS bootable floppy. The thing I find invaluable
about it, is that you can save your MBR to a file & reload it to your system if
your modifications don't pan out.

I have a partition rescue disk that has partition manager, a disk editor & the
following DOS programs:
Command.com
fdisk.exe
chkdsk.exe
edit.com
io.sys
msdos.sys
If I run into problems, I just boot from this floppy, launch partion manager &
reinstall the old MBR & I'm good to go.
