[ltp] 570<->600X

I have a 600X, and I had no trouble with the CD-ROM, but I had a lot of
trouble with the video when I tried installing RedHat 6.2. It showed only
the upper left quadrant of the video output, so none of the "Next" buttons
were visible. Once installed, same problem: X-Windows never worked right.
I recently upgraded the BIOS from ITET44W to ITET45W, but since then have
not tried reinstalling RedHat again, but am using Windows 2000 (ugh).
So I have two questions: Does this BIOS upgrade fix the video memory
reporting? Is there a 256ZX video driver in the 6.2 distribution, or do I
need an upgrade to Xfree86?
Also, I noticed that resuming from a suspend does not restart the network
card (Cardbus 3C575); I have to reboot. Is this only a W2K problem?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
