Please could some one help with the problems I have using Manfrake on my =
Thinkpad?
The first is that when shutting down Mandrake 7.1 the sequence errors =
out looking for a sector on the non-existant floppy because I have a Cd =
in my machine so the next time I switch on it reports not shutting down =
correctly and then proceeds to check the HD, any clues please?
My second problem is when I installed Mandrake 7.2 (not updated 7.1) I =
found that using KDE and any other program it locked up and the only way =
to free it was to restart. There are no error messages to guide me so I =
have had to reinstall 7.1 until the problem is known, has anyone else =
had this problem or might know where to start looking?
Thanks in anticipation
