No, but have some questions.

1)  How is the new HD partitioned out?
2)  Where is the hybernation file located?
    (Is it in a partition that is within the <1024 cylinder range?)
    (Is it in a FAT16, not FAT32, partition?)
3)  Have you re-created the hybernation file after upgrading to new HDD?
4)  What is your system configuration (RAM, kernel version)?
5)  What version is your BIOS?

I have similar setup:  TP570 with 192MB RAM, 12GB HDD (DARA-21200),
using kernel 2.2.14 and 2.4.0-test10.  BIOS is IMET62WW.
Hybernation is working, though I don't use it.
