[ltp] New Model Thinkpads??

Hello,
I'm about to purchase a new IBM thinkpad and would like to configure it for
dual booting WinNT (would get rid of it if I could but...) and linux. Can
anyone recommend any of the new models of thinkpad for this?? 

I'd like to avoid having to search out specific drivers. A friend recently
went through all sorts of trouble with a Toshiba and so I thought IBM might
be
the way to go.

All help would be appreciated,
