FWIW, the current SVGA server (Aug. 20 or later) from XFree site is the one which supports 1024x768 32-bit on the T20. The
XFree86-3 SVGA which comes with RH6.2 has to be set up 16-bit 640x480 (don't know how many real colors), then the new server
installed (which will run 16-bit 800x600) and XF86Setup run to put on final new settings.
