Thanks, I will look through those. How about the BIOS version? Are the
BIOSes for the T21 and T22 the same?

In this case, I'm running the
T22 Linux preload on a T21 (it's just what I happened to have on hand).
It has the following configuration.
- Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4
as the base image
 - Kernel 2.2.17 plus the USB
back-port (see attached .config [kernel.config])
 - PCMCIA 3.1.24
 - XFree86 4.0.2 + Tim Robert's
latest "savage_drv.o" (1.1.15) (see attached XF86Config)

Please note that I'm also testing
a T20 loaded with Red Hat 7.1 "Wolverine" beta, using Tim's Roberts' X
server and the XF86Config-4 file generated by the Red Hat installer (anaconda),
and it works properly with that as well.
