What's your MTU?  Do you have IP-Fragmentation enabled?  These are
the first things I'd check.  There's also something called "Window
Size" that I'm a bit ignorant about, except mine seems to be OK....

You can test with www.dslreports.com and maybe get some hints... or
with www.grc.com (but ignore his dire warnings about XP raw sockets
- he's clearly crazy about that, but otherwise it is rather useful).
