I'm running the linux-2.4.2 binary that came with RH 7.1 (have done
hundrets of kernel configs/compiles before, am now tired of it) quick
grep shows:

kernel-2.4.2-i386-BOOT.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i386.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i386-smp.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i586.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i586-smp.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i686.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i686-enterprise.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y
kernel-2.4.2-i686-smp.config:CONFIG_CARDBUS=y

The card has "PC Card" printed on the back. Will check this card on
another notebook with Windows tomorrow.
