You can choose the "Expert Install" option, and during the package select
phase, make sure you *deselect* that particular package.

After the installation, a useful precaution is to delete the contents of the
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/drivers/sensors directory (as root). This will
make it absolutely certain that your machine cannot load a sensors kernel
module, even if it tries.
