I've noticed that if you stuff around with key's and mouse buttons for
long enough even ctr-alt-del doesn't work..
Also It does it for Gnome 1.4 OR KDE 2.2
I get this problem on my T21 quite often. Its running almost stock
standard
Mandrake 8.0. And, no, crtl-alt-f1 doesn't work and nor does
ctrl-alt-backspace. I can ssh into the machine though, and kill processes
until it responds again, but I haven't worked out which process causes
this.
