[ltp] Sound on an IBM Thinkpad 600E

A few questions

1) What kernel version are you using?
2) What module are you loading (I think you should be using cs46xx, which has
   a module parameter called `thinkpad=1'. On my A22m, the need for this module
   is detected automatically.

An an observation

Once you do get the module loaded, you may find that you need to use the
external volume buttons to change the (master only?) volume on the laptop.
Again, this is an A22m, I don't know anything about the 600 series.
