No, but you should probably just need to add a stanza like this right
after the "case" line in wireless.opt:

*)
    ESSID=yourssid         # Use your SSID in place of "yourssid"
    MODE=Managed           # or Ad-Hoc if you don't have an AP
    RATE=auto
    ;;

You can try using "any" in place of "yourssid".  That should work if your
AP is running an "open" network.
