happened to my wife.  she came home totally trashed from a party, and
the cat got angry about it and pissed on her powerbook.

almost impossible; many cats love laptops because the cpu keeps
their little butts warm when they sit on the keyboard.  can't really
blame them for that.  you can close the lid, but the screen also gives
off heat.  this why i always look for sturdy used laptops.
