I've got 1400 2621 427 and the monitor works fine ;-)
This is the monitor section form my XF86Config (Debian 2.2 Xfree 3.3.6)

My video card is Ati rage mobility plus, I don't use the XSVGA server, I need
X and framebuffer, so my xserver is XF86_FBDev. It isn't very fast but works.
