[ltp] Thinkpad T20 Keyboard / Mouse Problem

Tom, thanks for your input.

I have experienced similar problems when running XFree86 3.3.6.  I have 
also had lock-ups in KDE.

The sound chip could be causing problems.  I will try disabling it for 
while to see if it prevents the problem.
