Hi guys,
I've two problems I'm not able to solve.
The first regards Xfree 4.0.2 and my graphic card.
Even if it is accelerated and supported by X I'm
to able to use Xv extension (and sdl).
This is my Module section
Section "Module"
Load "ddc"
Load "GLcore"
Load "dbe"
Load "dri"
Load "extmod"
Load "glx"
Load "pex5"
Load "record"
Load "xie"
Load "bitmap"
Load "freetype"
Load "speedo"
Load "type1"
Load "vbe"
Load "int10"
Load "v4l"
EndSection
and this is my device section
Section "Device"
### Available Driver options are:-
Option "accel"
#Option "crt_screen"
#Option "composite_sync"
Option "linear"
Option "mmio_cache"
Option "probe_clocks"
#Option "reference_clock"
#Option "shadow_fb"
Option "backingstore"
Option "dpms"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "ati"
VendorName "ATI"
BoardName "Mach64 LM"
ChipSet "ati"
ChipId 0x4c4d
ChipRev 0x64
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection
Has nobody any idea to configure it properly ?
The second problem is with hibernation 'cause, even if I've my
partition for hibernation (/dev/hda4) inizialized with lphdisk
it seams to ignore the partition and behave in the same way
of suspend. I've read in apmd man page that apm doesn't support
hibernation... is it true ?
hints ?
