Did you compile in HID support (human interface device)? Well, enabling
it as a module should be enough, I'd think.
Check out the section on mice at www.linux-usb.org which has many good
details for you.

Subject: [ltp] kernel 2.2.18 with usb support

Hi,

i tried to configure the 2.2.18 kernel with USB support.
Currently i use a logitech usb mouse (Logitech First/Pilot Mouse+ (USB))
which works with the original kernel from RedHat 7.0
perfectly.

but when i start this new kernel i get the error:

usb.c: unhandled interfaces on device
usb.c: USB device 2 (prod/vend 0x46d/0xc001) is not claimed by any
active driver.

any tip or info how to configure the kernel ?
