I am dusting off an old IBM Thinkpad 500
--- 486, b/w LCD, 300MB hard drive,
external floppy drive, PCMCIA - with 56k
Megahertz modem. I would like to install
Linux on it and surf internet mostly. Good
idea ? or too old ?
If the old dog can learn new tricks, how
should I start ? I imagine that I will
need to download something to a floppy to
get it started, then just download the
rest from the net ?
Thanks for your help.
