[ltp] lm-sensors again

  I've been meaning to ask about this.   My partner installed it on my TP 600 because the install said it was a required component of the operating system.   So even though I'd warned him about it, he installed it.  
  
   Just what does this do?   No problems so far, but I'm worried.
