Well, I guess I should not post without making a web search first :-)
I have found it at ftp://ftp.probo.com/pub/xf336sav.tgz
but, now what do I do with it?
(I know I should generate a new kernel including this driver, but how to?)
A pointer with some tips will be appreciated.

You shouldn't need to build a new kernel, as XFree86 lives *above* the
kernel. As root:

cd /usr/src
untar /path/to/xf336sav.tgz
cd xf336 (or whatever)

basically, the idea will be to put the generated driver file into
/usr/X11R6/bin, and then create a symlink called X which points to the
driver in the same directory. Now you'll probably need to run XF86Setup to
configure it, as I don't *think* lizardx will automatically detect the new
driver (then again, you might get lucky).

Best,
