Did you have a chance to look at thomas hood's page?

That should hook you up with everything except USB for a 600 series machine.

I see you switched to cs4236 instead of 4232 - thats why cd sound is working.
Did you check to see if BOTH the master and the PCM volume controls are 
unmuted and turned up using alsamixer?
