Tried excluding IRQ9 (which is the IRQ Windows says sound has) as well as
IRQ11 which shows both the sound and TR card when I CAT the INTERRUPTS
file. Still getting UNEXPECTED IRQ FROM TR0.

Just go into /etc/pcmcia/config.opts and exclude the IRQ being used by
sound

Subject: [ltp] 600X - IRQ Conflicts
IBM 600X running RedHat 7 (2.2.16-22).
It appears my Token Rind Card and sound card are fighting for the same IRQ
and the sound card one the fight - it works fine. Tried mucking around with
modules.conf and config.opts to try to get the TR card to grab another IRQ.
No luck. I'd take connectivity over sound if I must. Had everything working
fine on my 600E and just HAD to upgrade to the 600X...price I paid for 200
more MHZ.
Help - thanks........
