I use profiles to use my NT 4 installation native _and_ in VMWare and it
works great. There is an "original configuration" for native use and a
"VMWare configuration" that you have to create yourself and tell it to use
the IDE, graphic and sound drivers for VMWare and disable the drivers for
your native hardware in this VMWare profile. And of course you must chose the
right configuration at startup.
