[ltp] IMPS/2 mouse and X

the wheel works on my T21 in win2k, so i figure it should work in linux.
one additional point is that when i set the protocol to IMPS/2 it's not just
messed up in, but gpm as well.  do they use the same interface to the mouse
driver or something?
