[ltp] Solaris X86 8? on a Thinkpad a21p?

..Does any one have Solaris working on a T20 .? I have tried but I can't
pass from boot..! getting an error:
<bootdev>: disk read error, sector 0
When I boot with the Device Configuration Assistan disk, I see that my DVD
drve is recognized but whe I tried to access it the error display is the
following:

/pci@0,0/pci-ide@7,1/ide@0/cmdk@0,0:a
can't open - no VTOC

... As you can tell....I'm not a Solaris expert.. yet.., but I appreciate if
anyone knows what those errors means..!
