Now that you mention that, I remember having that happen to me on my
600X. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was a problem only if the system
was set to use both the internal and external displays, at the same
time. The problem is that if you chnage the output setting using Fn+F7,
it reverts back after a reboot. I think you may need to boot to Windows
and use the configuration tool to set the display to internal only.
Hope that helps, it was *really*, annoying for me for a few months.
