[ltp] ACPI status on ali M7101/M1621 chipsets?

Hi,

whats the status of ACPI support on ALI chipsets as used in newer IBM
laptops (i-series, r-series)?

Specifically, I'm looking at the M1621/M7101 PMU combo and noted that
there are a number of problem reports related to these chips and ACPI.

Recognizing that ACPI is largely an Intel effort, I'm somewhat
sceptical with regard to ALI support ;-)
