yeh, sounds like when i tripped over the power cord and pulled my tp
off my desk a 4 years ago.  i don't remember exactly, but after the
jolt rearranged all the ones and zeroes on the hard drive, it seems
like there were about 5 useful/usable files left.  i did have proper
backups, so everything was cool data wise.
