Yes it is: the option names have changed: in tpctl 2.5,
'thinkpad_' is prefixed to the option names. The change was
required because module options are global kernel variables.
How did the lines you mention get "automatically generated"?

The order of the entries doesn't matter except that the
"keep" line must precede the "path" line(s).
