I have installed just Slackware... no Windows on my TP600E !
To enable parallel port I re-formatted the hard disk... re-installed
Win98SE... but the parallel port is enabled... and work :-(
Why Linux Slackware not see my parallel port ?
The setting of my port is:
i/o: 03BC
irq: 7
Win98SE say: no conflict !
If I try with Linux to enter from command line:
/sbin/modprobe parport_pc io0x03BC irq=7
/sbin/modprobe lp
I have no error messages (at boot time I see errors as in previous
message...), but when enter:
/sbin/modprobe imm
for my parallel Iomega ZIP he say that the device is busy !
Can you help me ???
