[ltp] Last Min. advice for buying a new thinkpad?

I've always gotten machines by talking to liquidators. Having a few friends 
in the liquidation business is invaluable! Ran a 12 person company for 4 
years with loads of hardware, maybe spent a total of 80k on stuff, including 
some pretty high-end equipment. You just have to be willing to live with the 
fact that you get your stuff at 25 cents on the dollar and if it dies, you 
pitch it...
