[ltp] any pointers for TP600E and hibernation problem? loss of keybd detect using mouse/keyboard Y connector?

RH7.2 and kernel 2.4.9 on TP600e

I have problems closing the cover and keeping the TP running, hibernates
when I do not want it to.

Also I cannot get the keyboard to work with a dual Y connector for
keybd/mouse (worked on NT 4).

All help appreciated.
