[ltp] 760xl & PC Card Networking?

Has anyone had any luck getting networking working with *nix on a 760xl? If
so, which card did you use and did you have to do anything special?
I've got a NetGear FA-510, which theoretically uses the Tulip driver, but
have had no luck getting networking to work. With Mandrake 8.2, the only
error I can locate is "could not determine IRQ for Pin A or Pin B". The
OpenBSD 3.0 setup floppies pretend everything is ok, but times out when
trying to establish network connectivity. RH 7.2 fails as well, again with
no easily discernable errors.
The card works OK under Win98, so I know it's not bum hardware. I've got no
issues with trying a different card, I just don't want to stand in the
return line too many times.

Any help would be appreciated.
