One more question, the version that cdrecord has on their site for my
drive model is:

Device type    : Removable CD-ROM
Version        : 2
Response Format: 1
Vendor_info    : 'SONY    '
Identifikation : 'CD-RW  CRX700E  '
Revision       : '2.0a'

But the version I have is:

Device type    : Removable CD-ROM
Version        : 0
Response Format: 1
Vendor_info    : 'SONY    '
Identifikation : 'CD-RW  CRX700E  '
Revision       : '1.6v'

I cannot seem to find that version 2.0a upgrade... i'll keep looking!
