I just tonight hooked my 3xe to my 770 using Jpilot. It requires the pilot-link
package to function, perhaps K-pilot does also? All I had to do was install
jpilot and pilot-link. The pilot-link man page has you make a pilot device by
(as root) 'ln -s /dev/ttyS0 /dev/pilot', then make the serial port user
writeable by 'chmod 666 /dev/ttyS0'. I started jpilot and it synced first try.

over the ruins, Cockroaches feasting on the blackened ashes, and somewhere
an IBM PC saying "Abort, Retry, Ignore -- Abort, Retry, Ignore -- Abort... "
