[ltp] which distro 4 a linux newbie T20?

I've had good luck with Mandrake in the past. Easy to install, good
selection of tools, and 99% of the time recognizes all the hardware.
Haven't tried the latest version but have been hearing good things from
a couple of folks who have.
As for partitioning, since you are a "newbie" why not let the distro
pick for you?
