I think that this won't give you the desired results since the DVD
player software needs direct access to the DVD drive to be able to
exchange the required key for the CSS decryption. Another way would be
to start the DVD player software on the remote machine and redirect the
video output to your X server, but I think this would be way too slow.
You could also rip the contents of a DVD into a file on a hard disk so
that the file contains the decrypted movie and mount the hard disk via
NFS.
