[ltp] Mandrake 8.2 vs. TP 600e

Many thanks for your reply. I think I will try again sometime. I didn't have
any dos on it at all
when I installed Mandrake, and I made up a bootable floppy with the ps2.exe
files on it, so that I could configure the IRQ's.
Do I take it from your info below that you didn't use the midi setup as you
don't mention IRQ9 in your
list of things in modules.conf.

The other problem that I had is that I have an older Network card (16 bit)
and it wanted it's own IRQ.
I did get the modem partially working once in that I got the driver loading,
but it just would bomb out as soon as I tried to dial.

Maybe I will have the courage to have another try at some point, but I need
it to work at the moment, so I think I will have to stay with Windoze.
