[ltp] Hibernation on mandrake 8.2

I've booted to my dos partition and created a hibernation file using the ps2 
utill, and it works fine when booted to dos, but how do I get it to work when 
I'm in linux? Is there some setting that I need to do?
I press FN+F12 and it just beeps but nothing happens.
